so, this far:
i have forgotten the mobile modem in riga. goodbye, internet communication.
i clicked ‘do not save’ on a document i had been working on for six hours. goodbye, sanity (or is it reason?)
i spent 3.5 hours travelling by coach, and listened to “Would It Kill You to Stop Doing That: A Modern Guide to Manners” by Henry Alford. the perfect way for masking insomnia.
upon arrival, to my greatest surprise, my father actually talked to me (hasn’t done that for 7 years). god is merciful.
upon my arrival, to no surprise at all, i discovered that my brother is out cold drunk. or drunk out cold. or cold drunk out. whatever.
the cats were chatty.
the headache is doing it again.
