Considering death

There are three reasons one might desire death more than life, whichever way the cookie crumbles:

First, if life is suffering, and suffering is undesirable and meaningless, and death is the end, then desiring death is desiring an improvement of the current condition.

Second, if Christianity ir right, and the reality will be absolutely revealed to the believer in the life after death; also if the dead are now with God and thus in bliss, then it is pertinent to desire death more than life to come into the promised light and union with God.

Thirdly, if death is the end, and after that nothing, it is most desirable as I am a teacher and overwhelmed with too many tasks and answers. Death the would be the eternal rest from all haste and confusion.
